- For several years Art show funds supported the Kankama Association (now known as Connect to Australia C2A) which now continues to provide a centre with day service for adults with intellectual disabilities.
- In 1977 the Art provided funds to the Mornington High school to assist the establishment of a swimming pool for use of children in the area.
- In 1981 two prize winning acquisition painting were given to the Mornington Shire for display in their buildings. This donation of acquisition paintings continued for several years.
- In 1984/5 the art show funded a Community Bus and the initial planting of hundreds of trees to establish the Briars Forest. These plantings and care continued for the next five years.
- The Mornington Art Show, has grown over its 54 years to become a major and most significant source of funds for local and international projects of the Rotary Club of Mornington.
- This club was established in May 1947 and remains one oldest Rotary Clubs in Victoria. Art show funds over the years have raised over $1.6 million dollars for such humanitarian and local project work.
