ARTIST BIO

For some, painting is a creative release from the stresses of modern living, but for me creativity formed a fundamental part of my working career.

As an advertising art director I’ve been fortunate to have had creative freedom, so for me it’s not a release, rather an extension.

I’ve recently swapped markers and mouse for paint brushes to concentrate on fine art.

I work across a range of mediums, acrylic, water colour, charcoal, and sculpture.

I’ve exhibited in:
•Melbourne
•Frankston
•Daylesford
•The Seaside Artists Gallery – Redcliffe
•Pine Rivers Art Alliance –  Albany Creek
•Dayboro Gallery – Dayboro
•Martin Galleries – Nundah
•Mathew Flinders Gallery – Bribie Island
•Bribie Island Community Art Centre

and more recently at the Pier Gallery – Bribie Island.

My works hang in private collections in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth as well as overseas in America, England and Sweden.

My style is difficult to describe, except to say that it’s eclectic and my affinity for design and composition is demonstrably apparent. I like to express myself with the use of vibrant chroma colours to attract and stimulate the viewer.
